I was born and raised in Kent County

I graduated from Byron Center High School

I attended Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music and sang in thier traveling vocal group "The Choralairres"

Graduated from Davenport University

 I started working in the insurance industry In 1989; I am currently the supervisor of the Commercial Business Unit at Willis of Michigan

We purchased our home in Wyoming in 2003 and plan on staying here for many years to come.

Melissa and I are long time members of Resurrection Life Church

I am a former member of the board of directors of the Grand Rapids Jaycees

I served on the executive committee of the former First of America Classic, Senior PGA stop in Grand Rapids for 5 years.

I have volunteered countless hours to the Gerald R. Ford Council as a Cub Scout leader with both of my boys.

And most important I want to serve you, the people of Kent County the best I can!

I want to:

 Reduce The Size of Government!
 
Use legal citizens on all County Contracts by enacting the use of E-Verify

Bring back good paying jobs to the residents of Kent County.
